Annette Z. Parsons brings forty years of experience in educational leadership and twenty years in Catholic school administration to her role as a senior consultant with Meitler.
Previously, Annette served as Chief Administrator in the Office of Catholic Education for the Diocese of Richmond, overseeing Catholic schools and Christian Formation. She oversaw the department’s strategic planning process, founded and served as president of the Diocese’s first educational foundation and tuition assistance program, worked to advocate successfully for school choice, coordinated an evaluation and refinement of the parish assessment process, and oversaw the completion of engineering studies for all diocesan Catholic schools. She also founded the Segura Initiative, a program of outreach that doubled the number of Latino students in Diocesan schools within 5 years. She was appointed Consultant to the Committee on Catholic Education of the USCCB and has been a featured speaker at USCCB bishops’ meetings, NCEA, and CACE.
