Brother Thomas P. Long, FMS has served in the leadership of – and as a board member of – Catholic high schools in Massachusetts, Texas and Arizona.
In each of the schools he served, he led the formulation of comprehensive long-range plans for mission effectiveness and sustainability. He recently completed over eight years as president of Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Massachusetts. As a member of the Marist Brothers of the Schools, he has served on provincial council, chaired the province strategic planning committee for mission and ministry, and was instrumental in formulating his province’s first-ever mission standards for Marist USA schools. Brother Tom has earned a B.A. in psychology from Merrimack College, an M.Ed. from Loyola University of Chicago and a Certificate in Catholic School Leadership from Creighton University.
