Gordon Sharafinski brings 45 years of experience working in Catholic schools in three states.
A former Christian Brother, Gordon taught English for 14 years in St. Paul, Minnesota; Appleton, Wisconsin; and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was the principal of St. Joseph High School in Kenosha, Wisconsin, a coeducational Archdiocesan school; Marquette University High School, a Jesuit all-male school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Stuart Hall High School, a Society of the Sacred Heart all-male school that Gordon opened in San Francisco, California. Finally, Gordon was the Director of the Schools for the Schools of the Sacred Heart in San Francisco, a K-12 coeducational program consisting of four schools. Gordon has served as a CAIS/WASC evaluator and a site visitor for the Blue Ribbon School Program. He has served on high school boards and on a university School of Education Advisory Council. Gordon earned a B.A. in English from St. Mary’s University, a M.A.T. degree from the University of St. Thomas and Certification in School Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
